I am a nanny for 2 children under 2 and they both have one of these in their rooms. I am amazed by them..enough to look them up! I don't even have kids yet but am thinking about buying one just in case they don't make them by then! I LOVE this thing!!

We have been using this product for our toddlers. Each has one in their room and they both decide which disc they want for the night and we usually have the 'Twinkle, Twinkle' song on. I also use it for their naptimes (just the sounds, as it isn't dark). My 3 yr old daughter loves the heartbeat sound. Go figure! And my 2 yr old son loves the rain. It varies some days, but they definitely have their own opinions. I love that I can set the timer at night so it will turn off. I leave it on while they nap. I just purchased a 3rd one since we are having another baby. Since she will be in our room for a few months, I figured it would be a great idea for her bedtime routine as well. If we put the girls together in the same room later, then the 3rd one will be our backup in case something happens to one of the units and also be used for traveling. We took one with us the last time we vacationed and it really helped the children since it was comforting to them. I haven't had a problem with any of the units so far and we have had them for over a year now with every day and every night use! Oh, and the fact that it plugs in to the wall instead of eating up batteries makes it worth twice as much! I was so happy when I found this product. Yes, I definitely recommend it.

I received this as a baby shower gift not knowing how wonderful it was!!! My daughter loves it and even request certain disc depending on her mood. ( such as fish!!! or I want to see the monkey!!) I must agree, too bad it doesnt come with more disc!! Such as Elmo or Barney! That would be great!

We have had this for over two years and has worked great. The disk has just start to not turn, sometimes. But it has been dropped a couple of times. The projection is the best out of all the kid projecters, you can actually see the images clear. I also wish they had more disk with the machine. When this one finally breaks we will be getting a new one.

It was great when Erica was pregnant, and now that we have our son, it is awesome as it keeps him entertained while falling asleep. // If they could improve this product: 1) higher quality picture discs, the yellow one is really hard to see. 2) Most songs and/or a USB port to add new songs/sounds as the ocean and rain sounds are about the only 2 good ones. The music is too tin-like and short for playing over and over again in 20 second loops.

We received this as a shower gift and 19 months later, this thing is still going strong! The lullaby music is great and the projection mobile is perfect. Baby used to wake up during the night from what I presumed were bad dreams. After a few nights of that I decided to keep the mobile on and just turn it to "rain" sound--- well, he has slept through the night ever since and that was about 4 months ago. I am on the site right now to buy one for my friend's baby shower. She didn't ask for it (neither did I) but I guarantee she'll love it! *note: our projector stopped moving about a month ago. it also made a loud grinding noise for weeks before it went kaput.

I just bought 1 for my autistic daughter . And wow what a wonderful tool to have !! I am concerned that it will not last long . And I do wish that there were more dics. Holiday dics would be really cool . She would love that . or Waves , bubbles, dalphins you know fun exciting yet calming dics. I wrote to the company but no answer yet on if they will make more dics . But , we can always keep hope .

I bought this for my daughter before her baby was born and tried it out at my house first - I thought it was excellant and since the baby was born about 6 weeks ago - it gets used at least every night or more often sometimes. I just purchased another one to keep at my house for when the baby is here. A very excellant item for new moms and grandma's too.

We got this for a baby shower gift 3 years ago. My daughter still falls asleep to the ocean waves. It did stop spinning the disc a few months ago, but for the price and the 3 years that we've had it, well worth the money. The light bulb never burnt out in it and my daughter is content with the moon on her ceiling when she falls asleep. I'm looking at buying another one for my new baby. This product is wonderful!

I love the concept, however, after about a month or so the disc stopped turning. The light comes on, the music plays but the disc won't do anything. My daughter loved watching the fish 'Swim".

We have used this in my daughter's room from the day we brought her home, and it hasn't failed us yet. We use the ocean sound all night long, during nap times, and we take it with us when we travel. I used the projector in the mornings when I was training her to stay in bed longer, and it worked like a charm. She is 2 now, and I have every intention of using it until it dies- and then buying a new one! In fact, I'm here today to buy a second one in anticipation of our son's birth. I have no doubt that he will love it as much as his big sister and parents do. A definite buy, you won't be sorry!

I love this product. My daughter has used the rain option sound since she was born. I have to leave it on all night. It helps her go back to sleep on her own. Although I wish it had a two year warranty instead of one. She has used it for every nap and at night for 22 months and it just stopped working. We wore it out though. I got my moneys worth. We love it, I need to go buy a new one. Thank you HoMedics.

After a few months of using the Sound Spa it started with this awful, loud grinding noise. Then about 2 months later is stopped turning. My daughter really loves this so I may have to buy another one.

We have had this SoundSpa Lullaby machine since our daughter was born. We have used the ocean sound every night since we brought her home. She has slept through the night since she was 6 weeks old. She is 1 1/2 now and we still use it. We recently traveled and brought it with us to the hotel. We used the ocean sound as well as the projection (something we hadn't really used much before) and it was wonderful. It kept her attention enough that she didn't care she was in a pack n' play in a new place. I recommend this product for all parents of little ones!

My mother bought this for me as a baby shower gift. I have used it everyday since my daughter was born. I have found that it has also helped me fall asleep after after a busy day. My daughter is about to turn 3 and i am actually getting ready to purchase another one (we wore the other one out!!!). I would like to say that this was the best gift i received and has got the most use of all things (other than diapers). My daughter goes to bed everynight with the SoundSpa Lullaby, It is very soothing and relaxing and the 3 different mobile pictures are very cute! Highly recommended!!!!!!

We bought this when our boys were 2 and 6 months and they REALLY started fighting sleep. They share a room, and the bedtime drama was getting out of control! We started using this, and along with consistent effort by Mommy and Daddy, it has become a necessary part of their routine. One of the first sentences our younger son put together was, "Where shishy go?" when the timer turned off before he fell asleep. All he wanted was to have it turned back on so he could doze off. Now every night they pick which disc to watch, and they are so comforted by those familiar images. If it's a windy night, or they just seem restless I will go in and just turn on the ocean sounds very low for some white noise. Great Product, I will definitely be buying a couple more for friends who are pregnant.

My son got this for his first Christmas when he was 3 months old. I started using it when he got too big to have a mobile in his crib. He loved the lights and music and would fall quickly asleep. He is now 17 months old and still loves it. He loves pointing out the pictures he knows and watching it until he falls asleep.

Our son is BUSY and always fights sleep. This item doesn't quite put him to sleep like the others say, yet he does love to sit in the rocker with me and learn the animals names. Like, feesh=fish and monk=monkey and YELLOW!! = all the stars. Anyway even if it doesn't put your child to sleep it's a great learning tool and an excellent night light and perfect for background noise that helps drown out the other noises that will wake the baby up. It inexpensive and indestructible. Our son always tries to operate it on his own and every night it still works :) it's worth the money, although we got it at the baby shower and just started using it now that our boy is just under a year and a half. I'd buy it regardless.

I bought the SoundSpa Lullaby for my four month old grandson. He loves the music and nature sounds BUT best of all he enjoys watching the projected images revolve. It is fantastic that the projector can be rotated toward the ceiling and walls. The images keep him occupied during diaper changes and even help him drift off to sleep if he is over tired. I highly recommend this product. It is a simple concept, easy to use, and not an expensive investment. His mother loves the SoundSpa too and said the nature sounds also help her go to sleep. I see a future purchase for an adult version!

I found out about this from my labor and delivery room nurse of all people, telling me what a great product it is (she even travels with it, says her son can sleep anywhere as long as he has this). After being home a short time...my son spent 30 days in the hospital, due to his issue, he favored the right side of his head. We had to work with him to move his head to the left...I remembered this item. I used this every night so he'd look to the left...(I projected it on the wall as well as the ceiling). He now looks to the left on his own...but it's funny even during the day he'll look for his "ceiling friends. I have made this my new baby shower gift, every parent needs one.

I bought this for my neice turning one. But I tried it out on a 8 mo. old I was babysitting who was really fighting sleep. I got it out of the box, and as soon as I had it on he settled right down and was transfixed on the projection and was asleep within moments. Now I am thinking about getting one to keep at my home for my grandsons and when I babysit. It really rescued me.

I cant say enough about this product! I love it and my baby loves it too. I am looking for more slides to go with the sounds spa but it has served as a night light as well as a soothing bedtime tool. Your child will love it! it lights up the room just enough and has a timer as well.

I received this product as a gift. My son just turned three and still loves to listen to it before he falls asleep. It's part of our ritual for bedtime and he is asleep in two minutes. Sometimes he turns on the heartbeat sound just for napping or to take a time out to relax. He just looooooves it!
