OMG!!!! This product is wonderful. Along with most people I have some stubborn knots. This is definetly deep tissue, but can be calmed down with towels and lean pressure. You'll be sore after the first time,I mean really sore. Don't get discouraged use it every other day until you have figured out what works for you. It will change your world if you use it correctly and often. Enjoy and share it with your frends!

The thing is great. Works as advertised. My wife and I both have lower back problems (she has had surgery too) and this thing feels fantastic!
