Love the units functions, but my water is very hard and it leaves an unusual amout of white ash even with the demineralize cartridge. Where can I purchase the cartridge?

Perfect Humidifier. Almost Silent. I love being able to direct the mist. However, after 3 weeks the night light feature quit working.

I received the Cool Mist Humidifier as a gift after complaining about dry skin and eyes due to indoor heating during the winter.

The unit was virtually ready to use out-of-the-box except for preparing the demineralization cartridge and filling the tank for the first time. The controls are easy to understand, and operation is smooth and quiet.

I followed the directions in the operations manual and have had no issues with operation. The demineralization cartridge's length of functional use is true to the operations manual statement of approximately 40 tank fillings, and my water isn't very "hard."

I'm very happy with this product. My skin and eyes have improved in terms of not being as dry without the use of lotions or eye drops. The air in my home feels more comfortable, even during the heaviest use of indoor heating in the winter. I recommend the Cool Mist Humidifier for anyone with issues similar to mine.

Love it. Nice pleasing design, small footprint compared to those klunky rectangular tanks, much easier to fill., much easier to carry when full. Love that built-in handle when you turn the tank right side up again after filling. The controls are super simple and smooth to operate. Love the oscillating feature! But best of all: it's whisper quiet!! It's nearly silent! (The taller, skinnier model at the store made absolutely no sound at all.)
